On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between France and China, young French students who are eager to learn arrived in Anqing in the most beautiful season. From 6th to 13th, 2019, under the leadership of Vice Principal Ms. Vion, 29 students from Perier and Sylvain Menu Middle Schools in Marseilles, France conducted a one-week friendly visit to Anqing Foreign Language School, which received a warm welcome from Anqing Foreign Language School's teachers and students.
During the visit, French teachers and students experienced various characteristic curriculum, activities and participated in experiential courses such as calligraphy, paper-cutting, martial arts, hand-painted paper fans, Huangmei Opera and making dumplings. Everyone was in spirits and greatly widened their horizon, having a deeper understanding of the Chinese culture in their personal experience.
In summary, this is not only the language exchange, but also cultural sharing. The energetic French friends showed us the style of contemporary French youth and conveyed the elegance and calmness of the French nation. At the same time, we also provided them with a grand feast of Chinese language and culture with our hospitality. After a short week of learning and living experience, French teachers and students were full of enthusiasm and praise for the exquisite management of Anqing Foreign Language School.
